Fruitwood 18th-19th Century Carving Knife
SKU: H369
The high carbon steel blade of this knife is 26C3, which was originally developed for razor blades. It is tough, and takes and holds an excellent edge, which makes it a superb steel for kitchen knives. The blade has an etched finish to give it an aged look, and the Pear handle scales are attached to the full tang with seven 1.5mm copper pins. Made in the style of a late 18th to early 19th century carving knife, this is ideal for reenactment, but would also prove extremely useful in the modern kitchen, and for carving the Sunday roast.
